Print- 'In the Vertical'

This print is my personal favourite of the collection of ML 407 prints. It shows ML 407 in a very original and interesting angle, as Carolyn is flying ML 407 in a totally vertical position in the photograph, taken by aviation photographer John Dibbs. This angle on the Spitfire allows the viewer to see its dramatic profile, as well as get a closer look at the unique back-canopy conversion as designed by Nick Grace and pioneered on ML 407. This is also a more interesting and outstanding angle than the usual portrait shots of an aeroplane flying in a normal attitude, and displays the immense power of the Merlin engine as it is obvious that it can be used for such aerobatic manoeuvres.

Price: £3.00, but all four prints can be bought for £10.00
